My name is Rodney. I'm a Photographer in the Birmingham area. I started taking pictures over 15 years ago. It all started out by me taking pictures at church events just to post on a personal website. I started doing some research online to see, what is a good camera, good lens etc…. So once people was seeing taking pictures at these different events, they would ask me if I did weddings, Portraits and Birthday parties. So one thing led to another, and I did a little bit of them all after that. After a few years in the business, I ran into a financial situation that kind of forced me to sell everything I had. After selling everything and as time went by, I started having regrets. Fast forward to 2020, and the pandemic hit. So being on lockdown gave me some time to think about what I really was missing. So I had a talk with my two daughters about how do they feel about me starting my Photography business back up. They gave me a long talk about it and so here we are today. So I started buying piece by piece by piece. So I wanted to recreate myself and think of another name to go by. So with a few months of brainstorming, I decided of a new name. I knew I wanted to Inspire people with my images, and wanted to incorporate something from both of my daughters. They both are very creative in their own way. So we all feed off of each other. So when I asked them what they thought of the new name, they gave me their approval. So Imajez N'spir'D was birth. The N is for Nevaeh and the D is for Denae. Those are the middle names of my daughters. So if you have something you are passionate about, do it. Not for the money, but for the love of it. Because that's what I'm doing.
